EVENT OVERVIEW:  As discussed in our recent blog post, voters may be frustrated by their choices in the upcoming elections. In this timely webinar, we heard voter-focused solutions from panelists Chris McCullough and Joel Stegman, along with moderator Quentin Wittrock. Chris is a business lawyer, adjunct professor, and student of politics who served as an elected school board member during the pandemic. Joel is a minister who has studied and taught on political issues facing voters. Quentin, a retired attorney, founded Principle Based Politics after the 2020 elections and blogs on politics at this website.

The panel focused on the following topics:

  • The dilemma faced by many voters with crucial midterm elections looming on November 8
  • Strategic options available to voters who perceive flaws in the major-party candidates
  • Analysis of factors that best predict what a candidate would do if elected
  • A look ahead
