The topic of this week’s podcast is lawfare, the Supreme Court, judicial independence, and the role of lawyers, judges, and litigation generally in today’s American politics. Host Quentin Wittrock’s questions to Greg Pinski, a district court judge in Montana from 2013 to 2020, were along these lines:
What is your reaction to a president using the justice department to his personal bidding?
Is political litigiousness just a perpetual state of affairs now?
Did Democrats make a strategic political mistake by bringing criminal charges against Donald Trump?
How much strain does all of today’s political litigation put on courts in the United States?

Posted at 19:03h, 24 OctoberReally enjoyed listening to this week’s conversation. Not being a lawyer it reinforced to me what I thought to be true. It is so sad to see our last 2 attorneys use partisan politics to have there revenge tours for the president. Merrick Garland and Pam Bondi are equally responsible for what is going on in our country today . Neither has taken the high road like William Barr did. Just as Biden and Trump has misused the ability of the pardon. It’s time to quit saying the other side is worst and do the right thing.
