Energy

Energy

In Episode 20 of the Extremely Non-Extreme podcast, I interview Alex Epstein, who may be the foremost authority in the world on energy policy. Mr. Epstein, the author of “Fossil Future” (2022), explains his position on my proposition that “Affordable energy needs require all available resources to be used.” In the course of this podcast, we discuss how U.S. federal policy must deal with everything from fossil fuels to hydrogen, wind, solar, and other options. The bottom line is that energy policy is much, much more complex than the catchy sound-bite phrases that politicians spout to win votes, such as whether we should “Drill Baby Drill” or what do we do when “There is No Planet B.”
